Forza Horizon 4 takes well over twice as long to load as Forza Horizon 3 does

This is on a fast Windows PC with both the OS and the games installed on SSDs. From the point of clicking the game icons, to the point where you can drive, FH3 takes about 65 seconds. FH4 takes 2 minutes 35 seconds. Both games use the same game engine so why the huge difference? It has got worse as well - the long delay after you leave your 'home' looking at a black screen, never used to be this long when FH4 came out.

Weekly Forzathon Challenge: Horizon 4 Anniversary

Challenge 1: Own a McLaren Senna

Challenge 2: Earn 3 Slingshot Skills in your Senna

To simply do this, draft on an opponent and pass them. Best done in a normal race, I don't recommend blueprint races for this one.

Challenge 3: Win 5 Road Racing Events in your Senna

If you actually already own a Senna, I highly recommend you do the McLaren Cup and Old Blighty Championships in these. You should blast through Challenge 2 in the first race, just simply win in those 2 championships. Otherwise, you can use blueprint races.

Challenge 4: Get 5 Ultimate Speed Skills in your Senna

The game is deceiving you. Although it might say reach 208 mph in the menu, it really means to get 5 ultimate speed skills in your Senna. Go on the downhill to build more speed.

The Trial: Welcome to the Horizon Festival

Requirement: Sport Utility Heroes A-800

Reward: Chicken Suit

This series should be an easy cross country series if you have kind teammates. Most if not all of the cars in this category should have off-road racing tires. I have made a F-Pace and 2015 Macan tune. The Macan tune was originally a Playground Games vehicle but still works great in the trial (I have already tried it, why would I put it up here).

Showcase Remix: Contest of Giants

Reward: Super Wheelspin

This was originally the showcase for the hovercraft and a Toyota Baja Truck, but now the Colorado replaces the Baja Truck with even worse stats. The race should be rigged as the hovercraft magically slows down before the finish line so that the snail Colorado can catch up.

Playground Games

Location: Abandoned Railyard

Requirement: Rally Monsters S1-900

Reward: Hoonigan Fiesta

This weekly event is always a nightmare to do. The best car in theory is to use the LEGO Mini Cooper since it can fit into small spaces most cars shouldn't. But since most people probably haven't bought the LEGO DLC, I have made a RS200 and Gymkhana 9 Focus tune.

Gymkhana 9 Focus RS

Ford RS200

Speed Trap: Slate Quarry

Requirement: 142 MPH

Reward: Super Wheelspin

It shouldn't be hard to reach 142 in a car with dirt tyres in S2. Hoonigan RS200 should be fairly easy and if not that then a super car that's AWD.

Stunt Jump: Northbound

Requirement: 738.2 FT

Reward: Super Wheelspin

Follow the line in between the 2 highway lanes while you're on top of the highway. Go 120-125 MPH until you hit the tarmac which is a jump, then once you land floor it. You should be able to do 150 MPH in a S2 or X vehicle. Rewind is your best friend.

Speed Zone: Nether End

Requirement: 82 MPH

Reward: Super Wheelspin

I have always found this speed zone hard to do. Although you might believe the Hoonigan RS200 is the fastest off road vehicle, I believe using a slower, S1-900 vehicle is much easier for you on this speed zone. The high speed jumps straight into corners make the RS200 go straight into the bushes. Going downhill gives you more speed.

McLaren Cup

Requirement: McLaren S2-998

Reward: McLaren 720S Spider (New Seasonal Exclusive Car, Soon to be Rare)

Just because it says S2 doesn't mean the car has to be S2-998, which means I have made a 650S Coupe tune at S2-947. The reason why it isn't fully at S2-998 is because it would probably end up in a wall if it did. The A.I. should adapt to your vehicle PI so that they don't magically gain nuclear fuel mid race. However, if you want to get the job done quickly, a Senna is highly recommended since it can be used in the weekly challenge as well.

Spring Developer Championship

Requirements: Modern Super Cars S1-900

Reward: Lamborghini Reventon Forza Edition (Skill Tree Exclusive)

I'll admit these races were creative and fun. I was too lazy to make any tunes for this, so I'll just advertise the great Grandma Driving here.

Requirements: British S2-998

Reward: Morris Mini-Traveller (Rare Car)

Instead of being limited to McLaren, you now have a wide variety of vehicles. You can use cars such as the Vulcan Forza Edition, BAC Mono, TVR Cebera Speed 12, McLaren Senna, Lotus Elise GT1, and McLaren 720S PO. However the 2 McLaren tunes from above are just fine.
