| Why does drafting dirty your lap? FM7 Posted: 30 Jul 2021 04:14 AM PDT How are you suppose to get a clean lap? Being a second behind someone is already a dirty lap. Are you suppose to do weird dodging moves that hurt your lap times to prevent this or something? One of the fun things is to do is driving really close to eachother while doing clean corners, you know, the thrilling experience that's part of racing. As i understand it, it was a mechanic being abused. Fair enough. But even then just taking away drafting completely wouldve been a better solution than just dirty a lap imo. | Couple of things I hope FH5 has, really minor QOL stuff that would make the game better Posted: 30 Jul 2021 05:20 AM PDT QOL = Quality of Life Clubs should have a purpose, like in 2 and 3, where you got little credit rewards for getting a certain amount of XP every week. Point to point races should be longer, like in 3. Take advantage of the massive map and put 3-4 minute point to point races in there. All the P2P races in 4 felt short to me. Keep sharing of tunes and paintjobs across games. Make loading screens shorter if possible. Have an option to turn off music in the loading screens (looking at you 4, I don't want to be deafened before every race). Probably due to me hearing them all the time in 4, but I hope the soundtrack is as good as 1 or 3. I also hope they don't throw money and wheelspins at you, and hopefully there is a way to bank wheelspins you get from levelling up so you don't have to open them at the end of a race if you don't want to. More blueprint spots for races? Minimal should spin with your camera. Free cam should place the car in the centre of the screen when looking to the sides. In 3 (and maybe 4, not sure though) it's centered around your rear wheels. Better damage models, more like 1? Finally, make it obvious which trees we can knock over and which ones we can't.
