PSA: Forzathon Live Speed Traps are about Turnarounds, not Speed

I was doing a lot of Forzathon Lives recently (for the RS2000) and I noticed a lot of people were going insanely fast on Speed Traps only to go whizzing out of control and spend a ton of time in recovery. Two points on why this is a bad approach:

Acceleration gives you diminishing returns. Acceleration decreases over time, so, accelerating from 20 to 40 is much easier than accelerating from 100 to 120. As a result, your final speed is not proportionate to the distance you travel from the speed trap in preparation. It's much more productive to go a shorter distance away and consistently hit hundreds than going 500 yards away to hit a hundred-and-fifty.
The faster you're going, the longer it'll take for you to stop, regain control of your car and turn around. As a result, whatever effort you put into setting up getting there cleanly (the odds of which are also diminished because, at higher speeds you have lower control and are more prone to missing the speed trap, though rewind can remedy this). Instead, going a much shorter distance from the speed trap not only makes you go at a slower speed, which is easier to recover from, you also only have to consider very small amounts of road, and can get into a good groove on turning around because you know exactly what to do each time.

Certainly, when you're trying to max out your speed trap under normal circumstances, go as far as you can and barrel at it, but, in a Forzathon Live, you're trying to max the total number of miles per hour as a team. As such, consistency is far more appreciated than sheer speed. Oftentimes, it's much safer and quicker to consistently hit 80s, 90s and 100s rather than trying to hit 150s.

Anyway, not that this is a huge deal, just a few thoughts on how to approach these.
