    Last week

    Weekly Challenge - 2013 Ford Shelby GT500

    Out of the box this car is horrible for anything but going straight. It tries to rebound oversteer with every turn while also suffering from regular understeer. I did my best to tame this car's handling and that ended up with a S1 tune.

    2013 Ford Shelby GT500 - S1 Road Racing - 131 238 559

    The Trial Co-Op Championship: "Power Move" | Cross Country | (A800) Modern Muscle

    There are two stand out cars for this. Most Modern Muscle is too close to the top of A to do much with.

    2014 HSV GEN-F GTS - 148 358 253

    For this series this car is amazing. I took first every time with ease. Fast and handles great.

    2016 Cadillac ATS-V - 128 874 302

    This is almost as fast as the GEN-F and handles almost as good. It's a nice second choice.

    Seasonal Playground Games: Express North Rail Yard | (A800) Vans and Utility

    Hey, we had A Class Vans and Utility last month. Well, the same cars are good for this.

    2014 Ford FPV Limited Edition Pursuit Ute - 163 966 878

    The best overall vehicle to use here. And utes are just cool.

    1970 Chevrolet El Camino Super Sport 454 - 162 702 818

    The classic muscle car. Also a great choice.

    Championship: "Horizon Decades: 60s" | Cross Country | (C600) 1960s

    There are two fantastic choices for this.

    1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 409 - 768 379 843

    This is incredible off the line and a speed demon for the class.

    1965 Mini Cooper - 140 328 768

    This classic Mini is a bit slower to 60 than the Impala but faster to 100. Really it comes down to which handling you prefer.

    1960 Chevrolet Corvette - 163 638 474

    It's not as fast as the other two but still a fine choice.

    Championship: "Vintage Pastime" | Road Racing | (B700) Vintage Racers

    Oh, no. These are expensive cars to get. There are two that are far and away the best choices. Everything else is terrible in comparison.

    1931 Bentley 4-1/2 Litre Supercharged - 525 711 808

    This thing is a rocket for the class. AWD, good handling, and fast. This is the Barn Find that you get for buying the BamBurgh Castle.

    1926 Bugatti Type 35 C - 935 004 012

    This is a nice second choice if you can get it. AWD and handles great. It's nearly as good as the Bently.

    Championship: "Family Car Frenzy" | Road Racing | (A800) Super Saloons

    There are lots of choices here. I chose the fastest and best handling that I tested.

    2018 Kia Stinger - 132 644 999

    This is a great car. Fast with good handling.

    2015 Jaguar XE-S - 424 597 532

    Nice second behind the Kia. Nearly as good.

    2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe - 167 417 819

    I don't know why this is classified as a Super Saloon when it's a coupe, but whatever. It's fast but the handling takes some work.
