Weekly Forzathon Tunes for Fun and Profit Posted: 21 Feb 2020 08:38 AM PST ​ 33 Stradale at Auction Autumn is here and with it lots of wet roads, so this week's theme is "How much grip can we get?" Let's get down to business. As usual, you can find all my tunes under the gamertag "MetaSomma" and they're mostly called "Hive something". The Trial: This one is full of possibilities, the restrictions are any S1 vehicle with AWD. Since it's a road race we'll ignore trucks and other offroad vehicles for the time being. I have a car built just for this class that's designed for competitive racing, the Alfa 33 Stradale. Since it's a competitive build it focuses on speed, but it still has enough traction to get you through the corners here. Now if you want something a little less expensive and rare, try the Nissan GT-R Black Edition with my tune. This car can actually pull double-duty this week if you use it here. Games: Just like last week, there's only one suggested car and it's a crappy one for games. The restriction is B class retro muscle, so we have a few options. I took a cheaper one with more potential to build, the '93 Cobra, and welded all the power I could fit into it. Along with a close-ratio gearbox, AWD, and a roll cage, this thing goes like a bat out of hell up the dunes at the castle. You'll embarrass everyone who just chose the default Mustang. As with all "games" tunes, this car handles like absolute garbage anywhere else. You have been warned. Nissan Cup: This is restricted to, surprise, any Nizzan at S1. So basically we have a lot of GT-Rs to choose from. I picked one of the cheaper ones that people are more likely to have, the Nissan GT-R Black Edition, as mentioned above. My tune tweaks the handling to make it a little less stiff and widens the tires for better traction in the rain, among other things. Meet and Yeet: A class buggies here. I'm not a huge fan of buggies so when this comes up I go to my "trusty" Mini X-Raid with an AWD tune for easy wins. I know it's drivetrain swapped, sue me. Heavyweight Champions: I'm not 100% sure what the requirements are here, but I'm guessing it's anything over 4000 lbs. I noticed the Ranger Raptor on the list so I jumped on that one, it's one of my favorite trucks in the game. It just tears up the competition in this series.
